Best Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Treatment

healing chronic fatigue syndrome
Being a pioneer of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia is not an accomplishment I would post on my resume however it is significant if you’re reading this article.

My symptoms began in 1986 and took more than two years to properly diagnosis. Back then, chronic fatigue syndrome was known as Epstein-Barr virus.

More recently the illness is being referred to as “myalgic encephalomyelitis.” This condition ruins lives no matter what label is placed on it.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 1 million Americans currently suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  And, unfortunately, after over 30 years of research, leading hospitals and research centers including the Mayo Clinic still report that there is no cure.

But I am here to tell you otherwise. I know because I’ve been fully recovered since 1999.

During my battle with this hideous illness  that lasted nearly a decade, I considered myself fortunate to have some of the best doctors available. I was treated at one of the leading research centers for CFS/ME in the country, the Center for Persons with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey.

Unfortunately, a cure was never discovered. Treatment consisted of an overwhelming variety of pharmaceuticals intended to help manage symptoms and improve the quality of daily life. In my case, the pharmaceutical cocktail prepared and prescribed by the staff psychopharmacologist backfired. The side effects from the drugs were worse than the symptoms of the illness.

It was time to take matters into my hands. My recovery would take nearly three years and consist of an integrative approach developed on my own. And now I’m ready to share what I learned with you.
